Just had one of those awkward moments.

Went to pay the bill, and discovered that despite the restaurant displaying a Visa/Mastercard sign, they didn't take cards....

And we were €2 short in cash.

The restaurant let us off the €2.

The food was good too. :-)

17:15 Hotel Scholz, Koblenz

Spent the afternoon relaxing and snoozing. Soon be dinner time followed by karaeoke.

I will try to get some updates from people as the evening plays out.

Might even post some highlights of the singing. :-)

We just crossed the border into Germany, not too long now before we reach Koblenz.

We have arrived in France....

Just discovered there's free wifi on the boat, slower than dial-up, but it works.

AS! members are scattered throughout the decks, finding places to rest/sleep/eat.

Only another hour or so to go....

Now queuing to board the ferry.....

Sitting on the dock of the bay.

It's 00:50 and we are in Dover, queuing at frontier control.

Current topic of conversation, school trip memories.
